Cutting Felt Tips
We’ve found the best way to cut felt pieces out is with the freezer paper method. This is why we’ve included freezer paper with all our felt kits, even though the project’s instructions may not suggest it. For step-by-step instructions on using the freezer paper method visit Felt with Love Designs.
Sewing by Hand Basics
All the felt projects this summer can be sewed by hand or with a sewing machine. If you’ve never sewed by hand before check out Stitches and Techniques for Hand Sewing from The Spruce Crafts or Hand Sewing Basics from Sew 4 Home. YouTube is also a great resource to watch videos of sewing basics in action.

HeatnBond Ultra Hold Instructions:
- Preheat iron to medium heat, no steam. Place adhesive on back of material to be bonded (paper liner should face up).
- Place and hold iron on the paper liner for 2 seconds. Repeat until entire surface is bonded.
- Cut to size or shape needed. Peel off paper liner.
- Place material, adhesive side down on top of project. Press and hold iron for 8 seconds on each section until entire piece is bonded.
- Time listed above are for cotton. Iron thick fabrics for an additional 2 seconds from the back of the project.

Special Notes:
- In order to create these kits cost effectively a few changes have been made:
- No duplicate buttons for additional sheet, no wooden ring, or strung beads.
