Museum Pass Reservations may be reserved in advance by calling the library at 508-839-4649 or reserving your pass online.  Please check availability by clicking this link.  In the mean time, If patrons are unable to find a pass from the Grafton Public Library you can reserve passes through Blackstone Valley LibrariesPlease click here to see which passes are available.

MUSEUMS

Boston Children’s MuseumE-PASSOpen  Wed – Sun – 2 time slots from 9-12 & 1:30- 4:30 –  Only available as an E-Pass – Please call the library at 508-839-4649 or visit us online to reserve your pass using your library card.  Advance ticket booking is required before your visit book your tickets online , proceed by clicking on Discount Programs. The passes are emailed or texted once they are reserved.  Please present both the pass and pre-booked tickets when you arrive at the museum.

Davis FarmlandOpen  –  Fall Schedule – Closed Mon, Tue & Wed.  Open Thu, Fri, Sat & Sun.  They are open on Columbus Day 9:30-5. Tickets can be purchased online (which offers a discount) &  full price at the ticket counter.  Please call the library @ 508-839-4649 or visit us online to reserve your library pass using your library card.  The Library Pass admits 4 people and offeres a $5 discount.

Discovery Museum – E-PASS – Open  Tue – Sun 9 – 4:30 – Closed on Mondays. First friday of the month is free admission from October to June.  Only available as an E-PASS –  Please call the library @ 508-839-4649 or visit us online to reserve your library pass using your library card. Advanced timed tickets should be reserved before the visit.  Payment can be made after the discount is applied at the ticket counter.  The passes are emailed or texted to the patrons once they are reserved.

EcoTarium Open –  Tue – Sun 10-5 –  Closed on Mondays. Please call the library @ 508-839-4649 or visit us online to reserve your library pass using your library card.  Advance ticket purchase is not required when you are visiting using a library pass.  Tickets can be purchased onsite at the EcoTarium when you have a discount pass.  Please pick up the pass from the library a day before the visit.

Garden In The Woods Open –  Please call the library @ 508-839-4649 or visit us online to reserve your library pass using your library card. The pass should be picked up a day before the visit.  Library pass offeres 50% discount on admissions. Children ages 5-17 are admitted for a $1 and Children 4 and younger are free when accompanied by an adult. Patron has to present a physical pass for entry and get a discount.

Isabella Stewart Gardner MuseumOpen – Mon, Wed & Fri 11-5, Thu 11-9,  Sat & Sun 10-5.  Please call the library @ 508-839-4649 or visit us online to reserve your library pass using your library card. Reserve tickets in advance , add the discount code (please call the library for the discount code, after a pass reservation has been made) in the section that says Promo Code.  Press submit and the discount is taken off at check out.  A physical one time use paper pass for the date of the visit should be picked from a library a day before the visit and presented at the ticket counter upon check in at the museum ticket counter.

Mass Audubon E-PASSOpen – Only available as an E-PASS – Please call the library @ 508-839-4649 or visit us online to reserve your library pass using your library card.  Tickets should be booked in advance as there is no ticket sale onsite.  Make sure to print out the pass (which is emailed/texted to you, after it is reserved) before your visit as they serve as a ticket.

Mass Parks Pass (DCR)Open – Please call the library @ 508-839-4649 or visit us online to reserve your library pass using your library card.  Review individual parks for any updates on parking restrictions and capacities.  Please pick up the pass from the library a day before the visit.

Mass State Police MuseumOpen –  Tuesdays 11 – 3 and every Saturday 11-4.  Please call the library @ 508-839-4649 or visit us online to reserve your library pass using your library card.   Please check MSPM Calendar for more info.    

Museum of Fine Arts – OpenWed – Sun 10-5.  Closed on Tuesdays. Patron’s do no need to present a physical pass, just reserve tickets online, by using the discount code (please call the library for the discount code after reserving a pass) prior to the visit.  For adittional info visit MFA.

Museum of Science – E-PASS – Open – Daily 9-5 – Only available as an E-Pass.  The pass has to be reserved through the library prior to calling the museum @ 617-723-2500 to Reserve a timed tickets before your visit. Purchase tickets online or Call 617-723-2500.  Make sure to print out the pass (which is emailed/texted to you, after it is reserved) before your visit.

New England AquariumE-PASS – Open – Mon – Fri 9-5 & Sat -Sun 9-6.  Only available as an E-Pass. Please call the library @ 508-839-4649 or visit us online to reserve your library pass using your library card.  The passes are emailed or texted to the patrons once they are reserved.  Advanced reservations are not required for patrons who have a pass reserved.  The library pass should be presented at the ticket counter at the Aquarium to receive the discount.

Old Sturbridge VillageOpen  Wed – Sunday  9:30-5 until Oct 2nd,  Wed – Sun 9:30-4 Oct 2nd -30th,  Fri – Sunday 9:30-4  Nov 4th – 19th, Closed during the day Nov 20th – Jan 1st for Holiday Programs.  Advanced reservations or purchase of tickets are required for this event.

Roger Williams Park ZooOpen Daily until Oct 10th 9-4,  From Oct 11th – Mar 31st – 10-4 Thu -Mon.  Only available as an E-ticketsPlease call the library @ 508-839-4649 or visit us online to reserve your library pass using your library card.  Make sure to print out the pass (which is emailed/texted to you, after it is reserved) before your visit.  (please call the library for the discount code for a specific day to make online discount ticket purchases). Tickets NOT sold onsite only online.  Tickets should be booked in advance and reserve a timed-ticketing slot.

Tower Hill Botanic Garden –  Open daily 10-5 pm.  Please call the library @ 508-839-4649 or visit us online to reserve your library pass using your library card.  Library passes offer 1/2 price for 2 admissions.  (please call the library for the discount code), Patrons can reserve tickets online with Tower Hill in advance.

Trustees Go Pass – Open (Some locations are open, please check before planning). Please call the library @ 508-839-4649 or visit us online to reserve your library pass using your library card.  A timed-entry advance tickets and parking passes required.

USS Constitution MuseumOpen –  Museum open daily 10-5pm & Ship is open Tue – Sun 10- 6 pm.  One pass allows free admission for up to 9 people per day.  Please call the library @ 508-839-4649 or visit us online to reserve your library pass using your library card.  (please call the library for the discount code) to get the discount while booking the tickets online.

Willard Clock Museum –  Open Thu – Sat – Tours at 10:30 & 2:00, Closed Sun – Wed & Holidays – Please call the library @ 508-839-4649 or visit us online to reserve your library pass using your library card.  Patrons do not need to book tickets in advance, bring the pass to the museum to get the discount.

Worcester Art MuseumOpen – Wed-Sun – 10-4. Please call the library @ 508-839-4649 or visit us online to reserve your library pass using your library card.   Reserve tickets in advance online, (please call the library for the discount code). Make sure to print out the pass (which is emailed/texted to you, after it is reserved) before your visit as it will be required for entry to the museum.

 

Library Museum Pass Policy

A valid Library card is required to make a pass reservation. As you view each pass, you will see details on that pass, including the cost of admission, the museum’s hours and phone number. Clicking on the name of the museum brings you to the museum’s website for even more information.  Always check the museum website as their timings and events could change.

Museum passes offer discounted admission and are made available for loan to adults through the Friends of the Grafton Public Library, the Library Board of Trustees, individual donors, and the Town of Grafton. Grafton residents, property owners, and employees may borrow Library museum passes and make online reservations in advance. Residents of other MA towns may borrow available library passes day of visit only; advance reservations are not extended to non-residents.  We do extend online reservation of passes to patrons who reside in the following zipcodes

If your plans change and you are unable to keep your reservation, please call the Library at 508-839-4649 x1820 to cancel, so we can make the pass available to someone else.

The staff of the Grafton Library and the Friends of the Grafton Libraries hope you enjoy your visits to these museums. If you have any questions, comments or suggestions, please speak to a Library staff member.

  • A valid Library Card in good standing (up-to-date, non-expired card with no overdue or lost items and less than $10 in fines) is required to check out passes.
  • Grafton residents, Grafton property owners and Town of Grafton Employees can make reservations with their card for Museum Passes available at the Grafton Public Library.
  • A valid email address and/or phone number is required for online reservations.
  • Passes are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Reservations may be made up to two months in advance with a valid library card.
  • Multipe Passes can be booked by patrons per day. When school is not in session (February break, April break, summer break June-August, and December break) multiple passes can be booked for multiple museums per day.
  • Passes may be picked up a day before or the day of the reservation when the Library opens at 10:00 a.m.  (Holiday closures may affect Library hours and pick up opportunities, so please make plans to pick up passes in advance).
  • Library is closed on Sunday’s.  Make arrangements to pick up passes on Saturday.
  • Circulating passes must be returned inside the Library with a staff member.  (Please do not return the passes in the Automated Book Reutrn).
  • Paper passes are collected by the Museum and do not need to be returned.
  • There is a $5 per day overdue fine for passes returned late.
  • The replacement cost for a lost pass is the responsibility of the individual who borrowed the pass. The replacement cost is set by the museums.
  • Some of the passes should be turned in to the museum.  All the physical passes must be returned the next day after the visit, inside the library with a staff member.  Some of the passes are date specific and some are day specific. There is only one pass per museum available per day.
  • The number of people covered by the pass differs from one museum to another; some are discount passes; some are free admission. The cost per person with the passes is different for each museum. Please read the fine print on the website/pass.
  • It is recommended that you verify that the museum is open before you travel. While the Library is considered a member of each museum and strives to keep up with closed and unavailable dates, sometimes we don’t receive notice that a museum will be closed for a staff event, fundraiser, or renovation.
