Physical Passes

Please call the library @ 508-839-4649 or visit us online to reserve your library pass using your library card. The pass should be picked up at the library a day before the visit or the day of the visit. The physical passes should be returned the next day after your visit inside the library with a staff.

E-Passes

Please call the library at 508-839-4649 or visit us online to reserve your pass using your library card. The passes are emailed or texted to you once they are reserved. 

Boston Children’s Museum Advance ticket booking is required before your visit book your tickets online , proceed by clicking on Discount Programs. Please present both the pass and pre-booked tickets when you arrive at the museum.

Discovery MuseumAdvanced timed tickets should be reserved before the visit.  Call the museum before the visit to confirm if advance booking is required.

Museum of Science –  Make sure to print out the pass (which is emailed/texted to you, after it is reserved) before your visit. Pass should be presented on a phone or as a print out at the ticket counter to apply the discount.  The discount code is on the e-pass.

New England Aquarium   The library pass should be presented at the ticket counter at the Aquarium to receive the discount.

Roger Williams Park Zoo Make sure to print out the pass (which is emailed/texted to you, after it is reserved) before your visit. Tickets NOT sold onsite they are sold online only for timed entry. To book your advanced tickets online please call the library for the discount code. Tickets should be booked in advance and reserve a timed-ticketing slot.

Single Use Passes

Please call the library at 508-839-4649 or visit us online to reserve your pass using your library card. These Passes need to be picked up a day in advance or the day of the visit. These passes are one time use and do not have to be returned to the Library!

EcoTarium Tickets can be purchased onsite at the EcoTarium when you present the discount pass.

Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum Reserve tickets in advance , add the discount code (please call the library for the discount code, after passes have been reserved) in the section that says Promo Code.  Press submit and the discount is taken off at check out.

Mass Audubon  Tickets should be booked in advance as there is no ticket sale onsite.  Please call the library for the discount code, The library pass serves as a ticket and should be presented at the ticket counter.

Museum of Fine Arts –  This pass acts as a e-ticket.  Patrons will need the discount code to make the reservation online, over the phone or in person (please call the library for the discount code after reserving a pass) prior to the visit.  For adittional info visit MFA.  Discount Code required.

The Butterfly Place

Trustees Go Pass A timed-entry advance tickets and parking passes required.  (Some locations are open, please check before planning).  Discount Code Required to make advanced time entry tickets.

Library Museum Pass Policy

A valid Library card is required to make a pass reservation. As you view each pass, you will see details on that pass, including the cost of admission, the museum’s hours and phone number. Clicking on the name of the museum brings you to the museum’s website for even more information.  Always check the museum website as their timings and events could change.

Museum passes offer discounted admission and are made available for loan to adults through the Friends of the Grafton Public Library, the Library Board of Trustees, individual donors, and the Town of Grafton. Grafton residents, property owners, and employees may borrow Library museum passes and make online reservations in advance.  If patrons are unable to find a pass from the Grafton Public Library you can reserve passes through Blackstone Valley LibrariesPlease click here to see which passes are available from Blackstone Valley Libraries.
Residents of other MA towns may borrow available library passes day of visit only; advance reservations are not extended to non-residents.

If your plans change and you are unable to keep your reservation, please call the Library at 508-839-4649 x1820 to cancel, so we can make the pass available to someone else.

The staff of the Grafton Library and the Friends of the Grafton Libraries hope you enjoy your visits to these museums. If you have any questions, comments or suggestions, please speak to a Library staff member.

  • A valid Library Card in good standing (up-to-date, non-expired card with no overdue or lost items and less than $10 in fines) is required to check out passes.
  • Grafton residents, Grafton property owners and Town of Grafton Employees can make reservations with their card for Museum Passes available at the Grafton Public Library.
  • A valid email address and/or phone number is required for online reservations.
  • Passes are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Reservations may be made up to two months in advance with a valid library card.
  • Multipe Passes can be booked by patrons per day. When school is not in session (February break, April break, summer break June-August, and December break) multiple passes can be booked for multiple museums per day.
  • Passes may be picked up a day before or the day of the reservation when the Library opens at 10:00 a.m.  (Holiday closures may affect Library hours and pick up opportunities, so please make plans to pick up passes in advance).
  • Library is closed on Sunday’s.  Make arrangements to pick up passes on Saturday.
  • Physical passes must be returned inside the Library with a staff member.  (Please do not return the passes in the Automated Book Return).
  • Single use passes are collected by the Museum and do not need to be returned.
  • There is a $5 late fee per day Maximum of $20 for passes returned late.
  • The replacement cost for a lost pass is the responsibility of the individual who borrowed the pass. The replacement cost is set by the museums.
  • All the physical passes must be returned the next day after the visit, inside the library with a staff member at 9 am when the library opens.  Some of the passes are date specific and some are day specific. There is only one pass per museum available per day.
  • The number of people covered by the pass differs from one museum to another; some are discount passes; some are free admission. The cost per person with the passes is different for each museum. Please read the fine print on the website/pass.
  • It is recommended that you verify that the museum is open before you travel. While the Library is considered a member of each museum and strives to keep up with closed and unavailable dates, sometimes we don’t receive notice that a museum will be closed for a staff event, fundraiser, or renovation.
