Grafton Public Library

Delivery to Homebound Patrons

To sign up for Home Delivery, please complete an application online.

This program was designed to provide library materials to Grafton residents who for health reasons are unable to come to the Library in person due to illness or disability. The program can be used long-term or short-term depending on the patron’s needs.

Deliveries are usually made on Tuesdays (weather permitting) by a group of dedicated volunteers. Each Home Delivery participant is contacted Monday afternoon to discuss if any materials are needed, which titles or authors are of interest, etc. Deliveries are usually made in the afternoon. Some of our participants receive materials weekly, some every two weeks, and others on an as needed basis. The choice is up to the participant.

We can provide you with a variety of audio material as well; books on CD, movies and music. If the Grafton Public Library does not have the title you want, we will try to order it through the C/W MARS network. Some participants prefer to choose their own titles; others allow the staff to select titles for them. Again, the choice is up to you.

If you prefer, you may set up your own PIN account, and select your own titles. There is a setting on your library account which allows you to save the title of everything you check out, and staff are happy to help you set this up if you would like.
