Library Babies at Home

Library Babies is a virtual program for our very youngest patrons, ages birth-walking. In this prerecorded video series, we sing songs, and interact with the babies using bounces and finger plays.

Register for a Program Grab Bag and you’ll receive a selection of seasonal books for your baby, some musical instruments and a program guide. Grab Bags will be available to pick up at the library via no contact curbside pickup. One bag per family please. Grab bags must be returned to the library within the normal checkout time of three weeks.

Here is a copy of the complete Library Baby storytime program for you to do at home with your little ones. Insert whatever books you have available or download some great new ones online. Hoopla has fantastic music and Bookflix is an awesome resource at well.

George would love to see pictures of his friends, and hear about what books they are reading!

Curious George the character is owned by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Publishing Company. Curious George the stuffed animal is owned by the Grafton Public Library. Ms. Jen took him home for an extended visit. He’ll be back at the library for storytime soon!

Missing the Music & Egg shakers at Library Babies? Have an abundance of toilet paper rolls? You can make your own mini shaker!

Supplies needed: empty toilet paper roll, paper, scissors, tape, and cereal.
*Cut two paper circles slightly bigger than the end of the toilet paper roll.
*Place a circle over one end of the roll and fold it down. Secure it with tape.
*Next, fill each tube about one-third of the way with the cereal.

*Older babies & toddlers might like to help with this!
*Tape the uncovered ends of the toilet paper tube to keep the cereal from falling out.
*Turn on some Laurie Berkner and have a dance party at home.
