The Friends of the Library present a Skype visit with Maryanne O’Hara, author of Cascade, a novel of the Quabbin Reservoir. Join us for fellowship and refreshments at 7:00pm and a virtual author visit at 7:30pm.

Summary: Struggling to protect her family’s theater from a reservoir plan and married to a man desperate for children, would-be artist Desdemona Hart of 1935 Massachusetts is drawn to creative newcomer Jacob, who is wrongly implicated by anti-Semitic townspeople in the wake of a local murder.

Space is limited, a reservation is required. Books will be available at the Library for loan beginning in February and for sale in March.
