DIY Class: Re-purpose a Seed or Feed Bag into a Reusable Tote Bag

Posted on

Monday, June 18th 7:00-9:00 pm

Location: Senior Center (30 Providence Road)

Did you know that plastic bird seed and animal feed bags are not recyclable? Instead of sending these beautiful bags to the landfill, re-purpose them into fashionable tote bags!

With Grafton’s plastic bag ordinance going into effect in July, come and learn how to design and stitch your own unique shopping bag. If you have a bird seed or animal feed bag that you like, bring it with you, along with a sewing machine. There will be an assortment of bags pre-cut and ready to sew and extra bags to take home so that you can make more to share with friends and family.
Presented by Bonnie Combs of Bird Brain Designs and Anita Droby.

This program will be hosted by the Grafton Public Library and will be held at the Senior Center (30 Providence Road) in the craft room on Monday, June 18th 7pm-9pm.
