Early Childhood Seminar with Apple Tree Arts

The audience for the seminar are parents of young children from birth to age five.  (The seminar is for adults only, children should not accompany parents.)  Apple Tree Arts is  offering professional development hours for the hour and half seminar. The seminar can accommodate up to 20 participants.

We will provide participants with a survey before and after the seminar to have them rate their knowledge of the objectives of the seminar on a scale of one to five. The objectives are:
  • Increase knowledge of  why music, movement and music education is essential to children’s development
  • Increase knowledge of  how music is a powerful  tool for brain development, creative thinking and communication.
  • Increase knowledge of ways to incorporate music  into their families’ daily living and their comfort level with achieving this.
