As of May 18, 2015, Library Storytimes are on hiatus while we plan for Summer Reading. Mr. Kim returns in October.
If stopping by the Library for storytime has become part of your child’s weekly routine, please continue to come in! Make use of our space to read together, play, or socialize. Cook up something in our play kitchen or read a book to George on our new Eric Carle carpet. We’ve even prepared a special handout with age-appropriate booklists and themed activities, so that you can take the fun, and learning, home with you!
Mom’s groups, playdates, family visits? Whatever the reason-you’re always welcome at the Grafton Public Library.
Please see our online calendar for our summer event lineup! Click your child’s age group to get a list of age-specific programs.
Sept-May Storytime Sessions
The Grafton Public Library provides a variety of storytime sessions. Attendance is drop-in unless otherwise noted. Promptness is appreciated. We expect the little ones to wiggle! Don’t feel you have to sit through the entirety of each session – it’s fine to excuse yourself and come back later or the following week. If school is cancelled, storytime is cancelled as well.
The Children’s Room will be closed to the public for the duration of the Program, and will re-open at 10:30 a.m.
Research shows that the strongest predictor of school success is caregivers who read with their children at home. Don’t forget to browse for materials to take home before or after the program!
