Laura Ingalls Wilder MOOC
Try your first MOOC (Massively Open Online Course) with an 8-week course on award-winning writer Laura Ingalls Wilder! Participate online at your convenience, then come to the Grafton Public Library to get help or share your experience. Interactive in-person sessions to discuss the reading and/or the online learning experience are scheduled for every other Thursday evening at 7:00 pm on October 9 & 23, and November 6 & 20, and December 4.
Register online from home, work, school…or at the Library! Course access begins Monday, September 22, 2014. There is NO cost. An email address and access to a computer with Internet is required. See a staff member to set up an email account if you don’t have one.
Laura Ingalls Wilder: Her Work and Writing Life: The Early Years is just one of many free non-credit classes offered by academic institutions from state schools to Harvard University, on topics like Shakespeare, algebra, computer science, Greek civilization, astrophysics, and more.
