DROP-IN Lego Free Play

Movie Night: Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (PG-13)
Tuesday, April 18 6:30pm
This movie is rated PG-13 and may not be appropriate for very young children. The Children’s Room will close at 6:00 pm for this program.

Tween Crafternoon: Garden Crafts
Wednesday, April 19 1:00pm-2:30pm
Grades 3-5 Celebrate Spring with some seasonal crafts. Please register at graftonlibrary.org/events.

LEGO Build: Sea Turtle (session 1)
Wednesday, April 19 6:00pm-6:45pm
Grades 3+ (No exceptions). Join for a special Earth Day theme Build! Registration begins April 12th. Please register at graftonlibrary.org/events.

Bend and stretch and …breath! GradesPreK-5 Program will be held at the Municipal Center, 30 Providence Road. Registration opens on April 1st. Please register at graftonlibrary.org/events.

 

Please note our unattended child policy which applies to all programs: under age 7, parent must remain in proximity; ages 8-12, parent must remain in building,13+ may be unattended.

Once Upon a Story at Willard House

Movie Afternoon: Moana (PG)

We will be closing the children’s room at 12:30 to set up for this event, and browsing will be unavailable until 3:30pm.

Purchase Egg Hunt Tickets Now!

Image result for grafton public library egg huntTickets are now on sale for the Friends Spring Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 8 at 11:30 am (10:00 am sold out).

Collect up to 6 candy-filled eggs while hunting for the elusive Golden Egg, get your picture taken with the Easter Bunny, and then join us at the Library for Spring stories & crafts. Sponsored by the Friends of the Grafton Public Library. Proceeds benefit the Grafton Public Library.

Tickets are $ 4 per child and must be purchased prior to the event. Tickets are first come, first serve.

Getting Started Homeschooling

Tuesday, March 7 7:00-8:30 pm.

Whether you are actively considering home education or are just curious about how it is done, you are invited to attend Getting Started Homeschooling.

Topics to be covered include an overview of homeschooling, getting started, methods, resources, and homeschooling support. Informational handouts will be available and there will be time for questions and discussion.

The program will be presented by Sophia Sayigh. Sophia is a founder of Advocates for Home Education in Massachusetts, Inc., a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable educational organization that gathers and disseminates information about homeschooling in Massachusetts through education, advocacy, and events.

Admission is free, but preregistration is required.

Library to CLOSE for President’s Day

The Grafton Public Library will be CLOSED Monday, February 20, 2017 in observation of President’s Day. No items are due on this date. The Library will reopen at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, February 21, 2017.

Brickbuilders: keep the creativity going!

If you attended a Brickbuilders session this summer, you know how creative things can get!

Join us Wednesday, September 14 at 3:30 pm and design your own LEGO creation, or build a specific model! Bricks and Building Resources will be provided.

For kids in grades 3-6.
