New! BookWorm BookClubs for Kids!

The Children’s Room at the Grafton Public Library is pleased to announce new book clubs for kids starting this January 2019. There will be 3 book clubs, organized by grade, that will meet once per month to talk about the book of the month. Patrons can sign up on a monthly basis and do not have to commit to ongoing monthly meetings. Copies of the monthly book will be available to check out from the library.

Join Ms. Sandhya and Ms. Kristin at one of the following groups:

KINDERGARTEN friends will meet Monday, January 7 at 6:00 pm to read and discuss The Three Little Pigs by Paul Galdone and the True Story of the Three Little Pigs by John Scieszka.

FIRST & SECOND GRADE friends will meet on Monday, January 14 at 6:00 pm to discuss Stink the Incredible Shrinking Kidby Megan McDonald. Books will be available on December 31st.

THIRD, FOURTH & FIFTH GRADE friends will meet Monday, January 28 at 6:00 pm to discuss The Mouse and the Motorcycle by Beverly Cleary. Books will be available on January 7th.

Registration is required. Please register online or call the Library at 508-839-4649 x1103 (#3 on our phone menu when you call!)

Please note that program attendees must comply with the Library’s Unattended Child Policy:

  • 0-7 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times;
  • 8-12 must be accompanied by parent/guardian remaining in the Library.

The Children’s Room will be closed to regular business on these days from 6:00-6:45 pm to provide this program.
