Naturalist John Root will present a powerpoint program featuring photographs and recordings of our region’s songbirds. The role of song in these birds’ lives as well as their diet, social behavior, and other adaptations for survival will be discussed. Participants will also learn how to provide an attractive habitat for songbirds. Questions and comments are welcome throughout the presentation.

Bluebird boxes and perennials for edible landscaping and attracting wildlife will be for sale after the program. Please register online or call 508-839-4649 to sign up.

This program is supported in part by a grant from the Grafton Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.

Attendees of this program will earn 3 tickets for our end of summer raffle.

Does John Root speak at garden clubs? We are always looking for new speakers for our meetings.
