Art Program for Kids with Artist Lauren Scheuer

The Grafton Public Library is excited to host a drawing program for kids ages 8 and up with Artist Lauren Scheuer on Wednesday, June 10th at 3:30 p.m. Ms. Scheuer will share her sketchbooks, talk about the illustration process, and lead drawing demos while the kids draw along. Lauren Scheuer’s art career began in the fourth grade when Rosemary Bolton traded her lunch money for Lauren’s drawing of a cat. Lauren went on to study fine art at UCLA and later launched a colorful illustration career. She has illustrated over a dozen books for children. Her artwork can be found regularly in American Girl magazine; she has illustrated for Birds and Blooms, Muse and Cricket magazines.
